Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support our Winona Campus and float to La Crosse/Onalaska/Holmen/West Salem locations as workload requires. The role focuses on prescription data entry, labeling, compounding, and assisting at multiple sites.

We offer an hourly wage of $19.05 plus shift differentials, a strong benefits package including retirement and tuition reimbursement up to $3,000 yearly, and robust professional development

Qualifications

• Must be registered in Minnesota as a pharmacy technician (MNRPhT) and Wisconsin (WIRPhT) within 3 months of hire.
• Nationally-recognized certification for pharmacy technician credential (CPht or ExCPT) or willingness to become certified within 12 months of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels and fill prescriptions.
• Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs.
• Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment.
• Answer the telephone and respond to patient inquiries.
• Assist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed.
• Enjoy flexible scheduling options for day and evening shifts with rotating weekends.

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) outpatient Pharmacy Technician primarily working at our Winona Campus pharmacy. This position will require floating to La Crosse/Onalaska/Holmen/West Salem pharmacy locations based on workload and volume within the Winona Campus.

What you’ll do:

• Enjoy flexible scheduling options for day and evening shifts with rotating weekends
• Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels and fill prescriptions
• Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs
• Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment
• Answer the telephone and respond to patient inquiries
• Assist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed

What you’ll get:

• Hourly wage: $19.05 + more based on experience, plus extra for evening, weekend and holiday shifts!
• Reimbursed for millage for travel to any other pharmacy locations besides Winona Campus Pharmacy; all travel time to other pharmacy locations will be considered travel & will be compensated.

What you’ll need:
