Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen seeks a casual/on-call Pharmacy Technician for our Prairie du Chien Pharmacy. You will work alongside pharmacists to deliver Love + Medicine to our patients.

Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of an accredited technician program or 1 year experience, Wisconsin registration, and national certification or plan to certify within 6 months. On-site role with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Wisconsin.
• Nationally recognized pharmacy technician certification (CPhT or ExCPT), or willingness to become certified within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Pick up available hours.
• Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels, and fill prescriptions.
• Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs.
• Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment.
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries.
• Assist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed.

• Hourly wage: $19.05 + more based on experience, plus additional pay for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
