Job summary

BayCare is seeking a passionate Pharmacy Technician for their Integrated Service Center, located in Tampa, FL. The position is full-time with no weekend work, offering a shift from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll prepare both sterile and non-sterile products while adhering to strict operational procedures.

Applicants should have a High School diploma, a Florida pharmacy license, and at least one year of experience. Joining our team means being part of a culture that values trust, dignity, respect, and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician required.
• Experience in IV Preparation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sterile and non-sterile hazardous and nonhazardous products.
• Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) under Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Responsible for inventory control for the BayCare Central Pharmacy.

Position Details

• Facility: BayCare Integrated Service Center
• Location: Tampa, FL
• Status: Full time
• Shift: 7AM - 5:30PM
• Weekend Work: None

Responsibilities

• Prepares sterile and non sterile, nonhazardous and hazardous products.
• Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the facility functioning under Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Cleans International Organization for Standardization (ISO)-classified spaces. Responsible for inventory control for the BayCare Central Pharmacy.

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
• Required FL Registered Pharmacy Technician License
• 1 year experience - Pharmacy Technician

Preferred Qualifications

• IV Preparation experience
• Ability to methodically follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Aseptic technique for the production of sterile preparation.
