Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a MS State licensed Pharmacy Technician for Stennis Community Pharmacy. This role suits a patient‑focused technician wanting to broaden their pharmacy career. Hours: M–F 8–6, Sat 8–12:30.

You will adjudicate claims, fill prescriptions, record medical histories with HIPAA compliance, deliver excellent customer service, label prescriptions, and assist with inventory.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge for adjudicating claims and filling prescriptions efficiently.
• Accept written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
• Record medical histories while maintaining confidentially and compliance with HIPPA regulations.
• Deliver quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests.
• Select and count appropriate medication, place in appropriate container, create pharmacy label, and places completed prescription in area for pharmacist to verify.
• Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and pharmacy supplies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license with the MS Board of Pharmacy.
• A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• In good standing with the MS Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
• Computer experience mandatory. Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
