Job description

Regions Hospital is seeking dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to join our team. We are a community committed to delivering compassionate, accessible care to all. This posting aims to fill multiple roles, including inpatient and outpatient positions, with various FTEs and shifts available.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in providing pharmaceuticals to customers under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, Supervisor, Lead Pharmacist, Pharmacist, or Certified Lead Pharmacy Technician.
2. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
3. Accurately fill and label medication orders in designated areas.
4. Manage inventory by ensuring correct on-hand counts, checking for outdated products, and maintaining adequate supplies.
5. Maintain records in compliance with legal and departmental policies.
6. Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of all pharmacy equipment and work areas.

Work Schedule:

This is a pipeline posting to fill multiple FTEs and shifts.

Qualifications:

For Certified Pharmacy Technicians:

• Registered with the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy.
• Current national certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or National Healthcareer Association.

For Pharmacy Technicians:

• Registered with the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must obtain national certification within six months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program or Minnesota Board of Pharmacy training requirements if registered after January 1, 2013.
• Six months of relevant experience in hospital, community, or institutional pharmacy.

Additional Details:

Positions are based in Saint Paul, MN. Salary ranges are:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician: $23.90 - $30.99/hour
• Pharmacy Technician: $22.28 - $28.88/hour

Both salary ranges are dependent on experience and include shift differentials. These are union, non-exempt positions eligible for benefits such as medical/dental insurance (from day one), 401k with match, disability insurance, fertility benefits, tuition and educational reimbursements, onsite health facilities, and support programs.
