Shift Details:
Pharmacy Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, packaging, and dispensing medications.
- Receive and process prescription orders accurately.
- Measure, count, label, and package medications according to established procedures.
- Maintain medication inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Process insurance claims and assist with prescription billing when applicable.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Ensure medications are stored properly and within expiration guidelines.
- Provide courteous customer service while directing clinical questions to the pharmacist.
- Follow pharmacy policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years' experience in a hospital setting
- Certified Pharmacy Tech required
- IV admixture experience preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS, for Health Care Providers
- Additional certifications may be required.

- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ) .
