Job summary

Omnicell, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation and dispensing for our local Richmond, IN community.

You will work with the pharmacist to ensure accurate dosages and personalize patient care, while handling in-person and phone inquiries with empathy and clear communication. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, Indiana pharmacy license, and at least 1 year of technician experience; CPhT is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Active, non-expired Indiana State Board of Pharmacy license/registration required.
  • At least 1 year (2,000 hours) experience as a pharmacy technician required.
  • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred (PTCB or NHA).

Responsibilities

  • Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications.
  • Enter patient, medication, billing, and sales data accurately into systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone; listen actively and guide patients.
  • Support the pharmacy team and contribute to a safe, compliant workflow.
