Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our mission-driven team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Under the supervision of the attending Pharmacist, you will accurately fill, label, and distribute medications and maintain drug inventory and patient records in compliance with regulations.

This role requires a High School/GED and active state registration or national certification as a Pharmacy Technician.

• State Registration Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, or Licensed Pharmacy Technician.

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician contributes to high quality, patient-centered care performing technical tasks vital to the distribution of medications. Under the supervision of the attending Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician accurately fills, labels, and distributes ordered medication according to departmental procedure and federal/state/local regulations. The Pharmacy Technician also maintains the drug inventory and patient records and implements quality checks and performance improvement measures.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate / GED
• State Registration Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, or Licensed Pharmacy Technician
