Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, Inc., is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication distribution and patient safety. Under the supervision of the pharmacist, you will fill, label, and dispense medications and help manage records and inventory.

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician contributes to high quality, patient-centered care performing technical tasks vital to the distribution of medications. Under the supervision of the attending Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician accurately fills, labels, and distributes ordered medication according to departmental procedure and federal/state/local regulations. The Pharmacy Technician also maintains the drug inventory and patient records and implements quality checks and performance improvement measures.

• State Registration Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, or Licensed Pharmacy Technician
