Job summary

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician to join our 100% employee-owned, closed-door team. Hours are Monday–Friday 9AM–5:30PM with a rotating Saturday 10AM–2PM.

You will fill and prepare prescriptions, operate our packaging system, enter data accurately, and communicate with clients and care teams as part of a close-knit group with pharmacists.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Dependable and able to work well as part of a team.
• Comfortable learning new technology and pharmacy systems.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Fill and prepare prescriptions.

Looking for a pharmacy technician role outside of traditional retail? At Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy, our technicians work behind the scenes as part of a close-knit team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs.

The Day-to-Day

• Fill and prepare prescriptions
• Operate our automated med-cup packaging system
• Enter and maintain accurate prescription information
• Communicate with clients and care teams by phone
• Work alongside pharmacists and other technicians to keep medications accurate and on time

The Must-Haves

• Active pharmacy technician registration in the state of employment, or ability to obtain before your first day
• National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT), or willingness to become certified shortly after hire
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work the posted schedule, including rotating Saturdays
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
