Job summary

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our 100% employee-owned, closed-door team in Omaha. The role supports IDD and behavioral health patients, filling prescriptions and handling packaging systems.

You will work Monday through Friday 9 AM–5:30 PM with Saturday rotation, and Sundays/major holidays off. A strong emphasis is placed on accuracy, teamwork, and adaptability to new technology.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacy technician registration in the state of employment, or ability to obtain before first day.
• National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) or willingness to become certified shortly after hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work the posted schedule, including rotating Saturdays.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Fill and prepare prescriptions.
• Operate automated med-cup packaging system.
• Enter and maintain accurate prescription information.
• Communicate with clients and care teams by phone.
• Work alongside pharmacists and other technicians to ensure medications are accurate and on time.

Looking for a pharmacy technician role outside of traditional retail? At Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy, our technicians work behind the scenes as part of a close-knit team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs.

The Day-to-Day

• Fill and prepare prescriptions
• Operate our automated med-cup packaging system
• Enter and maintain accurate prescription information
• Communicate with clients and care teams by phone
• Work alongside pharmacists and other technicians to keep medications accurate and on time
