Job summary
Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy invites a dedicated pharmacy technician to join our 100% employee-owned team in Omaha. This full-time role focuses on behind-the-scenes support for IDD and behavioral health patients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in dispensing.
The ideal candidate will fill prescriptions, operate automated packaging, and maintain clear communication with care teams. State registration and CPhT are required, with weekend rotation expected.
Qualifications
- Must have active pharmacy technician registration in the state of employment or ability to obtain before first day.
- Must hold National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or willingness to become certified shortly after hire.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Looking for a pharmacy technician role outside of traditional retail? At Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy, our technicians work behind the scenes as part of a close-knit team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs.
- Fill and prepare prescriptions
- Operate our automated med-cup packaging system
- Enter and maintain accurate prescription information
- Communicate with clients and care teams by phone
- Work alongside pharmacists and other technicians to keep medications accurate and on time
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable and able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable learning new technology and pharmacy systems
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- Weekday schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM -5:30 PM
- Short Saturday rotation: 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
- Sundays + major U.S. holidays off
