Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is opening a new closed-door pharmacy location in Cook County, Illinois and seeks motivated team members for our long-term care pharmacy. You will support stocking, prep, packaging, and shipping of medications while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

We value reliability, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required; PTCB enrollment is encouraged for trainees; prior pharmacy or data entry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Pharmacy Technician Trainees must be enrolled in a PTCB program to be eligible.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable and able to manage multiple assigned tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to perform light lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working in a Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room is a plus.
• Maintain floor stock, including restocking and removal of expired medications.
• Rotate medication stock to ensure quality control standards.
• Prepack bulk medications prescribed for floor stock.
• Package, fill, and ship medications accurately.
• Maintain pharmacy standards and adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to support pharmacy goals.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. We take pride in delivering personalized care and high-quality pharmacy services to the communities we serve.

As we prepare to open our new closed-door pharmacy location in Cook County, Illinois, we are seeking motivated and dependable team members to join our growing operation.

Shift Availability

8-hour shifts available Monday-Friday and every other weekend.

Available Shifts Include

• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM.
• 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM.
