Job summary

Asante in Medford, Oregon is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacists in delivering patient-focused pharmaceutical care. Both Level 1 and Level 2 positions are considered, with wage scales tied to experience.

The role requires a high school diploma, Oregon PhT licensure for Tech 1, and CPT/ CPhT/NHA certifications plus experience for Tech 2. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany a Full Time equivalent of 0.9 (36 hours/week).

Additional Position Details:FTE: 0.900000 | 36 hours per week | Full Time|Variable Hours/Variable Days

We will consider Pharmacy Techs at either Level 1 or Level 2. Requirements and wages for each level are noted below.

Starting Wage:

• Pharmacy Tech 1: $20.53-$28.23 per hour, depending on experience
• Pharmacy Tech 2: $21.86-$30.07 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care under the supervision of the Pharmacist according to federal and Oregon state laws and departmental regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required for both levels of this position

Requirements for Pharmacy Tech 1 (Licensed):

• PhT: Licensed Pharmacy Technician by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy

Requirements for Pharmacy Tech 2 (Certified):

• One year of pharmacy-related experience, or the equivalent in education and experience
• CPT: Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy OR CPhT: Certified Pharmacy Technician by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
