Job Overview

Albright Pharmacy is located on the Asbury Riverwoods campus in Lewisburg, PA. The Pharmacy Technician is part of a team that provides prescription and over‑the‑counter medications to Asbury residents on campus. This full‑time position involves hours between 8 am and 6:30 pm, Monday‑Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a pharmacist, and in accordance with State and Federal laws, fill prescriptions and assist with daily fulfillment.
• Operate the pharmacy computer system to ensure timely and accurate prescription documentation and billing.
• Order supplies and prescription medications under the direction of the pharmacist.
• Maintain the pharmacy Pyxis system, restock out‑dated medications, and restock medicines daily.
• Answer call‑center phones, call insurance companies, enter prescriptions into the system, fulfill prescriptions into packaging, and stage for delivery.
• Accurately maintain inventory and assist with yearly inventory counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and registration through the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or data entry technician with good working knowledge of reviewing and entering prescription orders preferred.
• Proficient computer skills for data entry, reporting, documentation, and billing.
• Experience with PrimeCare/QS1 Pharmacy operations system and some exposure to pharmacy automation (e.g., Tera or other automation systems) preferred.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
