Job summary

PromptCare, Inc. seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in Lenexa, KS, ensuring accurate prescription processing, shipments, and patient communication.

Full-time, 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri 8:30am–5:00pm. Requires high school diploma, active state tech certification, CPhT within 1 year, and proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office; home infusion/specialty pharmacy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active State Pharmacy Technician Certificate (or equivalent)
• CPhT certification within 1 year of hire
• Proficient with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office
• Experience in home infusion or specialty pharmacy preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates State Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Prepares and tracks outgoing shipments to ensure continuity of care for patients
• Pull, pick and pack supplies and medications for patient shipments under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist
• Coordinates deliveries and performs follow-up calls to patients or caregivers as assigned
• Performs data entry of prescription information into EMR and pharmacy tracking systems
• Keep up to date with State Board continuing education requirements
• Assist with pharmacy inventories and related documentation/reporting
• Assist in obtaining and tracking billing information and documentation
• Ensure compliance with documentation requirements
• Ensure compliance with PromptCare policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Description

PromptCare is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team. Under the direction of a Pharmacist, each Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing clinical support to PromptCare patients by assisting the Pharmacist with day-to-day duties. If you are a dedicated and compassionate Certified Pharmacy Technician with a passion for patient care.

Reports to: Pharmacy Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:00pm

Job Location: Lenexa, KS

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Active pharmacy technician certificate in state of practice without restrictions
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required within 1 year of hire date
• Computer skills: familiar with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office required
• Experience working as a pharmacy technician in home infusion or specialty pharmacy preferred

Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
