Job summary

PromptCare is seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in patient care and day-to-day operations. This full-time role in Lenexa, KS, Mon-Fri, 8:30am–5:00pm, reports to the Pharmacy Supervisor. Responsibilities include preparing shipments, EMR data entry, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid state certificate, and CPhT within 1 year. Home infusion or specialty experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Active pharmacy technician certificate in state of practice without restrictions.
• CPhT certification required within 1 year of hire date.
• Familiar with EMR and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Prepares and tracks outgoing shipments to ensure continuity of care.
• Pull, pick and pack supplies and medications for patient shipments under the Pharmacist.
• Coordinate deliveries and perform follow-up calls to patients/caregivers.
• Data entry of prescription information into EMR and tracking systems.
• Maintain State Board of Pharmacy CE requirements.
• Assist with inventories, documentation, and reporting.
• Assist in obtaining and tracking billing information.
• Ensure compliance with documentation and PromptCare policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

PromptCare is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team. Under the direction of a Pharmacist, each Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing clinical support to PromptCare patients by assisting the Pharmacist with day-to-day duties. Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:00pm

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Active pharmacy technician certificate in state of practice without restrictions
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required within 1 year of hire date
• Computer skills: familiar with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office required
• Experience working as a pharmacy technician in home infusion or specialty pharmacy preferred

Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

• Assists in obtaining and tracking of billing information and documentation
• Ensures compliance with documentation requirements
• Ensures pharmacy compliance with PromptCare policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
