MTM Pharmacy locations seeks a full-time bilingual pharmacy technician (Spanish/English or Vietnamese/English) who can multitask and provide excellent customer service to patients and providers.

The role emphasizes communication, accuracy, and adherence to safety and infection-control policies in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Formación

• Fluent in Spanish or Vietnamese with English as a base.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong multitasking ability in a busy environment.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and communicate with patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone promptly.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock and inventory levels.
• Anticipate needed medications and supplies; place and expedite orders; verify receipts.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by following procedures and regulations.
• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures.
• Read medication orders and prescriptions; prepare labels; calculate quantities and days supply.
• Fill medications and assemble intravenous solutions and other therapies.

Job Details:

• Preferred but not required: Prior experience as a pharmacy clerk or pharmacy technician.
• Availability needed: Monday-Friday.

Job Duties:

• Fluent in Vietnamese or Spanish.
• Greet and communicate with patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone promptly.
• Maintained pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level.
• Anticipated needed medications and supplies; placed and expedited orders; verified receipts; removed outdated drugs.
• Maintained a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures.
• Read the medication orders and prescriptions; prepare labels; calculate quantities and days' supply.
• Fill medications, assemble intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
• Maintain records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions.
• Generate revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges.
• Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
