Responsabilités

• Speak Spanish & English fluently.
• Greet and communicate with patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone promptly.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock levels.
• Place and expedite orders; verify receipts; remove outdated drugs.
• Maintain a safe, clean pharmacy per procedures and regulations.
• Ensure proper storage and security for drugs.
• Adhere to infection-control policies.
• Read orders, prepare labels, calculate quantities and days’ supply.
• Fill medications and prepare IV solutions and other therapies.
• Record physician orders and prescriptions.
• Deliver medications to patients and departments; generate charges.
• Contribute to team efforts as needed.

Our pharmacy is hiring a full-time bilingual Spanish/English pharmacy technician who can multitask and possess great customer service skills. Must speak Spanish fluently.

Job Details:

• Preferred but not required: Prior experience as a pharmacy clerk or pharmacy technician.
• Availability needed: Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm.

• Maintain records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions.
• Generate revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges.
• Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
