Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in filling prescriptions and maintaining patient confidentiality at our Fort Worth, TX site.

This data-entry role requires accurate prescription processing and service-oriented interaction with patients. The candidate should have a high school diploma, a pharmacy tech training program, and Texas registration (CPhT) preferred, with on-site work Monday through Friday, 10am–7pm CST and training shifts.

Position Title: Pharmacy Technician

Work Location: Fort Worth, TX, USA 76177

Assignment Duration: 5 months (Potential Conversion)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 10 to 7pm CST. Training is Monday to Friday 8 to 5pm CST for the first week and 9-6pm the second week. Occasional Saturdays 8 to 5pm CST. Training is 8am to 5pm for the first 3 days and then technician must be able to work 11 to 8pm ET / 10 to 7 pm CT every day.

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Technician provides support to pharmacists in filling prescriptions for patients. This role ensures accurate and timely medication dispensing while maintaining patient confidentiality and satisfaction.

Background & Context

This is a data entry role. The candidate should live within a reasonable driving distance of 13501 Park Vista Blvd Fort Worth, TX 76177. The technician must be able to come on site daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter prescriptions in accurately
• Fill and refill prescriptions according to doctor's orders
• Process insurance claims and collect payment information
• Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering questions and addressing concerns
• Maintain organized records of all prescriptions filled and dispensed
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

Qualification & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program approved by the State Board of Pharmacy
• Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office
• Experience in retail or healthcare setting preferred
• Need to be registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy and current PTCB or NHA CPhT license in good standing
• Need good data entry skills
• Good attention to detail
• Need to be able to come on site daily on time and good attendance
• The Technician must be CPhT and registered with the board of pharmacy
