Certified Pharmacy Tech North Fort Worth TX Contract to hire Pay rate: $23 Work Schedule: - Monday to Friday 10 to 7pm CST - Training is Monday to Friday 8 to 5pm CST for the first week and 9-6pm the second week - Occasional Saturdays 8 to 5pm CST The technician must be able to come on site daily. Training is 8am to 5pm for the first 3 days and then technician must be able to work 11 to 8pm ET / 10 to 7 pm CT every day. Job Summary: The Pharmacy Technician provides support to pharmacists in filling prescriptions for patients. This role ensures accurate and timely medication dispensing while maintaining patient confidentiality and satisfaction. The candidate must have good data entry skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Enter prescriptions in accurately
• Fill and refill prescriptions according to doctor's orders
• Process insurance claims and collect payment information
• Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering questions and addressing concerns
• Maintain organized records of all prescriptions filled and dispensed
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies

Required Skills and Preferred Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program approved by the State Board of Pharmacy
• Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office
• Experience in retail or healthcare setting preferred.
