Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Onsite)

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76177

Pay Rate: $22/hour

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM CT

Training: Week 1 (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT) + Week 2 (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CT) Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT

Openings: 2

Duration/End Date: through March 26, 2027 (approx. 20 weeks)

Work Setting: 100% onsite (must be able to come in daily)

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician provides support to pharmacists by accurately entering and processing prescriptions and supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations. This is primarily a data entry focused role and requires strong attention to detail and reliable onsite attendance.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescriptions accurately into the system
• Fill/refill prescriptions per physician orders (as applicable to technician scope)
• Process insurance claims and collect required payment information
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient questions/concerns
• Maintain organized prescription records
• Support inventory management and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with pharmacy/healthcare team members to support patient care

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

• Registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) in good standing
• Current PTCB or NHA CPhT certification in good standing
• 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience, including strong data entry skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to be onsite 5 days/week (plus occasional Saturdays)
• Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician training program completion (State Board approved)
• Retail or healthcare environment experience
• Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office)
