Americare Pharmacy Solutions in Cookeville, TN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for senior care communities.

You'll work a consistent weekday schedule with no evenings or weekends and a benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, PTO, 401(k), and tuition assistance. Training and growth opportunities are available as part of a supportive team.

Qualifikationen

• Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration required.
• PTCB certification required, or equivalent certification as applicable.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and prescription information.

What You'll Do

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll work under the direction of a licensed pharmacist and help ensure medications are prepared accurately, efficiently and on time.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assist pharmacists with filling and preparing prescription orders
• Package and label medications accurately
• Prepare medications for dispensing under pharmacist supervision
• Enter and maintain prescription and patient information
• Help organize medications and pharmacy supplies
• Support inventory and medication preparation processes
• Communicate with pharmacists, team members and healthcare partners as needed
• Follow pharmacy procedures and applicable state and federal requirements
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive health information
• Help keep pharmacy operations organized, accurate and efficient

Depending on experience, you may also work alongside senior or lead pharmacy technicians who can provide additional guidance and support.

What We're Looking For
