Network HealthCare Pharmacy in Franklin, TN seeks a Mid-Shift Certified Pharmacy Technician for cycle fill operations. The role supports pharmacists and team leads in preparing and delivering prescriptions within a closed-door facility serving nursing homes and long-term care centers.

The role requires state-licensed technicians with PTCE/PTCB certification, strong English skills, reliability, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license in good standing per state regulations
• PTCB or ExCPT certification in good standing
• Previous pharmacy experience, preferably long-term care
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Able to work at moderate speed and in inclement weather
• Reliable with good organization and attention to detail
• Able to lift up to 10 pounds
• Must pass background check and drug testing

Responsibilities

• Process First Dose boxes
• Process batch and null labels
• Export of Orders/Center and Patients
• Maintain cycle fill machines (Parata systems)
• Process supplemental fill list and check rolls
• Run repack and process re-run bags
• Verify totes for correct order in delivery
• Pull medications from shelving and prepack racks
• Accurately fill and check final preparations
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety policies
• Participate in quarterly inventory
• Other duties as assigned; duties may vary by business needs

Mid-Shift Certified Pharmacy Technician/Cycle Fill - Franklin, TN

Network HealthCare Pharmacy is a closed-door pharmacy seeking a motivated Mid-Shift Certified Pharmacy Technician/Cycle Fill to work in our Franklin, TN location. The work schedule is 5 days a week, Monday-Friday – 8 hour shift from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (an hour lunch break).

Position Overview

The Pharmacy Fill Technician works under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist/Team Lead to perform tasks related to the preparing and delivery of prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Process First Dose boxes
• Process batch and null labels
• Export of Orders/Center and Patients
• Maintenance of machines used in Cycle Fill (i.e. Tigger, Roo, Winnie. Parata)
• Process supplemental fill list and check rolls.
• Run repack and process re-run bags
• Verify and check totes to ensure correct order is in appropriate tote for delivery
• Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (prepack racks)
• Accuracy check of final preparation prior to presenting to pharmacist
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently and in a timely and prioritized manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA
• Maintain clean/organized workstation areas and replenish all stock supplies needed each shift
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication/product that is not scanning properly
• Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code
• Participate in quarterly inventory
• Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary depending on business needs

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Pharmacy technician licenses required by state regulations and state of practice in good standing
• Pharmacy Technician certification through PTCB or ExCPT in good standing
• Previous work experience in a pharmacy setting preferably long-term care
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Able to work at a moderate speedAble to work during inclement weather

We are a Long Term Care Pharmacy facility serving nursing homes, assisted living centers, etc. Huge prescription volume of medications filled daily. Solid, dependable and verifiable work history required.
