Job summary

Local Health, Inc. in Touhy, IL is seeking a dependable Pharmacy Technician for full-time or part-time work at the Touhy Family Pharmacy. You will assist the pharmacist under supervision with processing and filling prescriptions, measuring dosages, labeling, and communicating with patients and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to assist the pharmacist under supervision with prescriptions and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow company policies and procedures including register performance and confidentiality.
• Greet customers and answer questions.
• Receive prescriptions and check their validity.

Local Health, Inc is a fast growing, family-oriented group of independent pharmacies looking for a Full Time or Part Time, with hours ranging between 15-40 hours per week, Pharmacy Technician to work at our Touhy Family Pharmacy in Touhy, IL.

We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician that will process and fill prescriptions. You will assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision and in accordance with state and federal regulations, with technical functions in the pharmacy. Such functions may include measuring, counting, labeling, record keeping, and communicating with patients and other healthcare professionals. Ensures customer satisfaction by handling each customer in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner. We are looking for high energy technicians who are motivated, able to multitask and have excellent customer service skills.

No nights, Sundays, or holidays, and some flexibility in scheduling.

Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred but not required. We will train you!

This position is listed as a "Pharmacy Technician," however we encourage applications from both certified candidates and those who do not have Pharmacy Technician experience. Please note that compensation for non-certified technician candidates will be considered based on experience and training.
