Job summary

VytlOne is hiring a full-time NV Registered Pharmacy Technician for our Carson Tahoe Pharmacy in Carson City, NV. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys interacting with patients and expanding their pharmacy career.

Salary range is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour. Responsibilities include adjudicating claims, processing prescriptions, maintaining patient records, and delivering excellent customer service. Nevada license and certification are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• NV state registered pharmacy technician license is required.
• National certification preferred.
• Active status with Nevada State Board.
• Two or more years of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Passion for outstanding customer service and teamwork.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate claims and fill prescriptions efficiently.
• Accept written prescriptions or refill requests and verify for completeness and accuracy.
• Record patient histories with HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Deliver quality customer service and respond to inquiries.
• Count and label medications; prepare for pharmacist verification.
• Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and supplies.

CTH is a not-for-profit healthcare system with 240 licensed acute care beds, fully accredited by the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ). Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge for adjudicating claims and filling prescriptions efficiently.
• Accept written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
• Record medical histories while maintaining confidentially and compliance with HIPPA regulations.
• Deliver quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests.
• Select and count appropriate medication, place in appropriate container, create pharmacy label, and places completed prescription in area for pharmacist to verify.
• Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and pharmacy supplies.

Qualifications

• Must have a NV state registered pharmacy technician license.
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• In good standing with the Nevada state pharmacy board.
• Two or more years of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Strong communication skills.
