Qualifications

• MA state registered pharmacy technician license.

• In good standing with the Massachusetts state pharmacy board.
• Two or more years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Strong customer service, professionalism and teamwork.
• High school diploma required.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge for adjudicating claims and filling prescriptions efficiently.
• Accept written prescriptions or refill requests and evaluate information for completeness and accuracy.
• Record medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Deliver quality customer service to patients and respond to inquiries.
• Select and count medications, label, and prepare for pharmacist verification.
• Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and supplies.

• Select and count appropriate medication, place in appropriate container, create pharmacy label, and places completed prescription in area for pharmacist to verify.
• Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and pharmacy supplies.

Qualifications

• Must have a MA state registered pharmacy technician license.
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• In good standing with the Massachusetts state pharmacy board.
• Two or more years of pharmacy technician experience.
• A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Must have a High school diploma.
• Strong communication skills.
