Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Tech II to support pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing orders. You will perform technical duties in packaging and delivery of medicines and demonstrate proficiency across multiple pharmacy function areas.

This role serves patients from neonate to geriatric, with hours 6:30AM-3PM and rotating weekends. Georgia registration and one year of experience are required to ensure safe, accurate pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration.
• One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.
• Perform duties involved with handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals.
• Provide patient care services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient). Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
3. One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

Work Hours:

6:30AM-3PM

Weekend Requirements:
