Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing orders. You will assist with handling, packaging, and delivering pharmaceuticals and demonstrate proficiency across production, distribution, inventory, and other pharmacy functions.

You will provide patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, current Georgia Pharmacy Technician

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.
• Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals.
• Demonstrates proficiency to practice in two or more pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient).
• Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
