  • Count, measure and prepare specified products using best practices.
  • Complete billing procedures to ensure best value to customer and company.
  • Answer phone, triage calls and respond to inquiries appropriately.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report illegal activity (robbery, theft or fraud)
  • Comply with and reinforce all food safety, sanitation and health code regulations, and notify store management of unsafe conditions
  • Understand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers
  • Follow company guidelines on computerized inventory management, control and ordering of medications, devices, supplements and supplies
  • Maintain departmental standards, keeping workstations and customer waiting areas clean and organized

  • Complete billing procedures to ensure best value to customer and company

  • Adhere to vendor coupon guidelines, cash shortage limits and shrink guidelines
  • Operate cash register and handle cashier policies to prevent loss, including electronic fund transactions
  • Provide stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing
  • Assist pharmacist in responsibilities that do not require professional judgement
  • Understand and comply with HIPAA regulations and company policies
  • Support company health and wellness initiatives
  • Put away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries
  • Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment
  • Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer/business issues
  • Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults through direct interaction

Qualifications
Minimum
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum age 18

  • Familiarity with EPRN
