Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Pharmacy Technician for the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic, and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre, Missouri. You will work under a licensed pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations.

The day shift (730am-4pm) involves data entry, stock maintenance, and processing prescriptions while ensuring compliance and patient safety. Benefits are provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Pharmacy Technician certification/licensure required or L1MA certificated.
• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription data into pharmacy system.
• Maintain stocked pharmacy and proper records.
• Fax prescription orders to contracted pharmacy for processing.
• Maintain pharmacy files including prescriptions, logs, and drug information.

We are currently seeking afull-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Eastern Reception, Diagnostic, and Correctional Center located in Bonne Terre, Missouri.

The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist to aid and assist the Pharmacist in assigned duties, including interacting with healthcare professionals and corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the Pharmacy Department.

Essential Duties:

• Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system
• Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy
• Ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing
• Maintaining pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders, and other records as required by the Pharmacist

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician required or must hold a L1MA Certificated
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Day Shift - 730am-4pm Monday through Friday
