Job summary

The technician will assist with medication preparation, inventory, and distribution within a state healthcare environment. Minimum requirements include current Texas Pharmacy Technician registration, pharmaceutical assistance experience, and the ability to pass background checks, drug screen, and FBI fingerprinting.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical assistance work.
• Ability to pass a urine drug screen and background checks.
• Must complete FBI fingerprint screening and maintain registration throughout assignment.

Join a healthcare team supporting pharmacy operations in a state healthcare environment in Austin, Texas. We are seeking qualified Pharmacy Technicians for an immediate contract opportunity.

About the Company:

A leading healthcare staffing organization is seeking qualified Pharmacy Technicians to support medication preparation, inventory management, medication distribution, and pharmacy operations within a professional state healthcare environment.

Position Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician will assist with medication preparation for pharmacist review, inventory management, medication delivery, medication-area inspections, technical pharmacy support, and clerical duties.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 PM - 5:30 PM
• No 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 3-month Government contract
• Start ASAP

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Experience in pharmaceutical assistance work
• Valid photo ID
• Negative PPD results within the last 12 months
• Ability to successfully pass a urine drug screen
• Ability to successfully pass required background checks
• Ability to complete FBI fingerprint screening
• Must maintain current Pharmacy Technician registration throughout the assignment
• All compliance requirements must be completed before starting
