Job summary

TTUHSC in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Training to assist pharmacists with clerical duties and prescription entry. You will triage inquiries, maintain records, and help ensure a clean, organized pharmacy environment.

Required Qualifications

Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. License/Certification: Must be registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience to equal 6 mos
• Previous work in a pharmacy setting to equal 6 mos
• Previous experience with point of sale and cash handling
• Can hold a Pharmacy Technician in Training license, with the expectation that employee will become fully certified within that two year time frame
