St Matthews Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in data entry, packing and shipping RX orders, and coordinating care with patients, prescribers, and payors. The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and fast-paced retail operations.

Qualified candidates will have Kentucky Tech licensure or be eligible, plus High School Diploma and 2+ years’ experience preferred. Benefits include PTO, holidays, and more; sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky Pharmacy Technician license or eligible
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
• State Registered Pharmacy Technician or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
• Proficient with MS Office and pharmacy software

Responsibilities

• Performs data entry of patient demographics, billing, and prescription information
• Assist pharmacist with packing and shipping RX orders
• Coordinate care between pharmacies, patients, prescribers, payors and third parties
• Provide courteous customer service and address patient questions
• Maintain accurate records and perform timely insurance verifications
• Support inventory and back-office tasks as needed
