Job summary

Kinney Drugs is looking for a motivated Pharmacy Technician Trainee in the Town of Queensbury, NY. In this role, you will provide support in prescription processing, customer service, and inventory management under close supervision. The trainee will participate in the Kinney Certification Program, progressing toward becoming a Registered Pharmacy Technician. Candidates should have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; prior experience in pharmacy is preferred. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $17.60 an hour, based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred AS Degree or higher in a related field.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the pharmacy counter and drive-thru.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate patient and prescription information.
• Count, label, and prepare medications according to prescription orders.
