Education requirements include a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trainee will obtain Pharmacy Tech license with the Vermont Board of Pharmacy before the start of employment.
• They must achieve National Certification within two years of their date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Fill medication orders and deliver to patient care and ancillary areas.
• Manage technology including PYXIS packer and PYXIS control cabinets.
• Operate the department efficiently while staffing as team leader.
• Sterile and non-sterile product preparation.
