MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is hiring a Pharmacy Technician Trainee who will study toward certification under supervision of a pharmacist and a licensed technician. The role involves learning to prepare medications, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting colleagues in a busy hospital pharmacy.

Education requirements include being in high school with a diploma or GED, Iowa registration prior to hire, and eventual Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/NHA).

• Currently in High School, HS Diploma, or GED.
• State of Iowa pharmacy technician registration prior to start.
• Must obtain Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/NHA) before expiration.
