Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age or older and eligible to sit for the national technician certification exam within 1 year of hire.
• Registration with Iowa Board of Pharmacy prior to start of employment.
• Ability to perform math calculations accurately and exercise professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a pharmacist, assists in providing pharmaceutical care to patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics.
• Support the pharmacy team in daily operations and ensure accuracy of transactions.
• Handle routine duties with appropriate independence and professional judgment.
• Maintain courteous, accurate communication with customers and colleagues.
