Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to lead and support a team of technicians in an inpatient hospital setting. You will ensure adherence to policies, maintain secure medication storage, and participate in audits and quality initiatives.

The role requires state regulatory registration, CPHT certification, and CSPS certifications. Experience in personnel management and a 3+ year inpatient hospital background are preferred for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree is preferred.
• 6 months experience in personnel management is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years inpatient hospital experience is required.
• State Board of Pharmacy Registration (if applicable as per State) Required.
• National Certification (CPhT) is required.
• ACPE or ASHP Compounded Sterile Products Certification is required.
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician as per State requirements is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise other technicians to ensure policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Maintain medication storage and security per regulatory requirements.
• Assist in audits and monitor quality control and performance improvement functions.
• Optimize technician workflow and support continuous improvement processes.
• Document monthly medication storage area inspections as assigned.

• You will accurately perform and document monthly medication storage area inspections as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:
