AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician with specialty focus to support ADC systems, cleanroom operations, diversions prevention, and informatics. This role requires strong communication and teamwork, and involves coordinating with pharmacy leadership and clinical teams across campuses.

The position supports ongoing quality improvement, training, and workflow optimization in a hospital setting, with day shift duties and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years contemporary hospital pharmacy experience with targeted specialty practice.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
• Pharmacy technician must be registered (RPhT) and certified (NHA or PTCB).
• Experience with ADC systems, cleanroom/compounding, and diversion prevention is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in Tech IV functions and cover core/advanced areas as needed.
• Perform expert-level pharmacy technician duties across workflows.
• Serve as subject matter expert in designated specialty area (ADC, cleanroom, informatics, etc.).
• Resolve complex issues and provide technical support for the specialty.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system functionality and process integrity.
• Develop and enforce protocols to ensure accuracy, safety, quality.
• Provide real-time guidance to team members.
• Coordinate continuity and standardization of specialty programs.
