AdventHealth Hendersonville in North Carolina seeks a Pharmacist to join our patient-centered team. You’ll educate patients and families, supervise technicians, and participate in rounds to ensure safe, cost-effective medication use.

The role covers central, satellite, and IV areas with emphasis on quality improvement and regulatory compliance. Requirements include a PharmD, a valid Pharmacist license, and hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) required.
• 1+ hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate and counsel patients and families on safe and effective medication use.
• Provide safe, timely, and cost-effective medication therapy; participate in stewardship and programs.
• Engage in direct patient care and interdisciplinary rounds; ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate technicians, interns, students, and residents; address safety events.
• Review orders, perform pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments; support clinical decision making.
