Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Enterprise Pharmacy - Transitions of Care Services in Illinois. This part-time, second-shift role runs 1:00PM-9:30PM and pays a range of $24.10 to $36.15 per hour, with responsibilities across patient care and documentation.

You will support care team communications, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality improvements while adhering to regulatory standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred for NC locations with technician responsibilities.
• Registration/licensure with state board of pharmacy per employment state.
• Certification as CPhT or ExCPT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes area-specific work per standard processes and policies.
• Serves as an expert with equipment and technology in the area.
• Solves technical issues in the specialized area as they arise.
• Ensures documents and records are accurate and timely.
• Supports communication with patients and care team.
• Identifies quality improvement opportunities for safe, effective care.
• Supports operational changes and site standardization.
• Participates in site or system specialized teams and councils.
• Keeps current with changes and mentors others.
• Contributes to pharmacy department initiatives.
• Accepts assignments from other pharmacy teammate roles when workload dictates.
