Job summary

Vibra Hospital of SE Michigan – Taylor Campus in Taylor, MI is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Tech to join the team. Under supervision, you will prepare medications, manage inventory, and contribute to patient safety within a hospital drug distribution system.

The role requires a Pharmacy Technician license, high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. Six months hospital pharmacy experience preferred with opportunities to grow professionally.

Qualifications

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of SE Michigan – Taylor Campus, located in Taylor, MI, is a 40‑bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Pharmacy Tech performs a wide variety of technical and clerical duties related to the hospital drug distribution system. Duties include filling physician orders by preparing and distributing medications, including intravenous admixtures and extemporaneous drug preparations; maintaining the drug inventory; and maintaining confidential patient records. The Pharmacy Tech may also participate in the hospital Antibiotic Stewardship Program with a focus on patient safety and public health.
