Vibra Hospital of SE Michigan – Taylor Campus in Taylor, MI is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to join its hospital team. Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will assist with filling physician orders, preparing medications including IV admixtures, and maintaining inventory and patient records.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, an active MI Pharmacy Technician license, and a valid driver's license for cross-site deliveries.

Vibra Hospital of SE Michigan – Taylor Campus, located in Taylor, MI, is a 40‑bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Patients often require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, perform a range of technical and clerical duties related to the hospital drug distribution system. Duties include filling physician orders by preparing and distributing medications, including intravenous admixtures and extemporaneous drug preparations, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining confidential patient records. May participate in the hospital Antibiotic Stewardship Program focusing on patient safety and public health.

Required Skills

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of employment required.
• Valid driver’s license required in states with multiple facilities requiring delivery to sites.

Additional Qualifications / Skills

• Six (6) months experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
