Job summary

San Juan Regional Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and provide accurate, timely pharmaceutical care to patients. The role includes drug distribution, sterile compounding, order entry, and clerical duties within a hospital pharmacy setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, may be eligible for CPhT certification within a year, and must register with the New Mexico State Board of Pharmacy within ten days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must complete CPhT within 12 months of hire if not already certified.
• Must complete IV compounding training with competency evaluation within 12 months.
• Must register with NM State Board of Pharmacy within 10 days of hire if not registered.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent
• Must complete CPhT within one (1) year of hire if not already certified
• Must complete the SJRMC structured on-the-job didactic and experiential IV compounding training with competency evaluation through demonstration and testing within one (1) year
• Must register with the New Mexico State Board of Pharmacy within ten (10) days of date of hire if not already registered
