Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to perform data entry and patient registration under supervision. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, assist with third party rejects, and respond to high-volume inquiries while following SOPs and company policies.

Responsibilities include resolving data entry exceptions, handling patient communications via calls/chats/emails, and supporting pharmacists at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Basic PC skills to operate computers and software.
• Ability to use a web browser and online forms.
• Intermediate keyboarding and data entry speed.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Process new patient registrations by entering data into the system.
• Handle patient requests and refill orders in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Resolve third party rejects by gathering info and resubmitting as needed.
• Assist pharmacists and communicate issues to senior staff.
