Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team and ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment. The role involves engaging with patients, following SOPs, and maintaining inventory while upholding a compassionate service standard.

As responsibilities expand, technicians complete required training and state licensure, with opportunities to assist immunizations and additional clinical tasks as permitted by law and policy.

Qualifications

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice.
If the state board has no minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
If the state board has no minimum education, must have a high school diploma or be enrolled.
State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

Support the pharmacy team to deliver operational and service excellence.
Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across workflow areas.
Contribute to a positive patient experience with empathy and care.
Complete basic inventory activities and control flows as directed.
Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
