Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Las Cruces, NM. You will support pharmacists by processing prescriptions, handling third-party claims, and assisting patients at pickup.

You will enter data into the TaSCO system, ensure accuracy, and help maintain a compliant, organized pharmacy area. Minimum qualifications include state-required eligibility and obtaining PTCE or ExCPT certification within 9 months.

Qualifications

• Must meet state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain PTCE or ExCPT certification within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and third-party insurance claims.
• Assist pharmacist in prescription fulfillment and customer service.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software and manage patient records.
• Provide member service at pickup and resolve issues while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
