Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Pharmacy Technician at the Santa Fe, NM location to support prescription fulfillment and patient services. You will process prescriptions, assist with third-party claims, and help keep the pharmacy compliant with policies and state/federal laws.

Qualifications

• Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/PTCE) or ExCPT within 9 months of hire.
• Ability to assist the pharmacist in prescription fulfillment and patient service.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and third-party insurance claims with accuracy.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescriptions and verifying dispensations.
• Provide patient service at the pharmacy drop-off/pickup windows and resolve concerns.
• Maintain proper paperwork and HIPAA compliance while handling medication inventory.
