Job summary

You will enter data into pharmacy software, process prescriptions, and assist patients with purchases while maintaining accuracy and compliance. The role requires meeting state requirements, obtaining PTCE or ExCPT within 9 months, and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Certification (PTCB/PTCE) or NHA ExCPT within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription fulfillment including third‑party insurance claims and rejections.
• Assist patients with prescription orders, purchases, and questions in the pharmacy.
• Enter prescriptions into pharmacy software and ensure accurate dosing, labeling, and dispensing.
• Maintain pharmacy area, handle returns, and ensure a clean, compliant environment.
• Support the pharmacist in processing refills, inventory, and required paperwork.

Education

PTCB PTCE or NHA ExCPT certification within 9 months
